Music Lessons and Private Guitar Lessons with Draa Hobbs

Draa is a professional freelance guitarist with a solo CD and more than 25 years experience in the music business.  Currently he is a faculty member at the Putney School, where he runs the Jazz program.

Draa also teaches guitar to children and adults in association with the Pentangle Arts Council in Woodstock, Vermont. 

As an educator, Draa has served as an Adjunct Music Professor at Marlboro College and been a faculty member and on the Board of Directors for the Vermont Jazz Center. For two years Draa ran the Guitar Studio program at Plymouth State University, where he was responsible for as many as fourty students each semester. He has taught music at the Greenwood School, Northfield Mount Hermon, and Amherst College in Massachusetts. He has been teaching for more than two decades.

Draa currently offers beginning-advanced instruction in guitar, as well as private studies in jazz improvisation, theory and harmony for all instruments. Beginners, intermediate and advanced students can learn to express themselves in a creative lesson program customized to their needs.
